the end in sight and a new job to come!

well, i am in the throws and thrusts of the last two weeks of classes, tests, and presentations.  This week is 3 presentations, and next week is 3 Final Exams, and then the following week is commencement!  So, it is VERY exciting.  I haven’t really been taking that many pictures as of late, but still, lots of house guests in the Jansen home this spring!  First, it was Jon and Jenni.  Then, Timarie.  Then, more this past week and next week!

–Ted and Yoli Gochenour (my Grandma’s brother and his wife) stayed with us for a week,  as they are here visiting the 3rd sibling: Maggie.  She has cancer and recently had a stroke, but has been moved out of the hospital to a recovery facility this past week.  It was wonderful having them here.  Ted became my surrogate Grandfather for a couple days, and we enjoyed peppering him with questions about his many travels all around the world.

–Bruce and Barb Jansen (my Dad’s older brother and his wife) will come on Friday, to join us for my other cousin’s wedding on Saturday: Matt Jansen.

And….more news…….I will be a full-time employee as of July 7 at JFW.

JFW is Jim Wilson’s company, a longtime friend of my Dad’s, and our dear, close family friend.  I really am thrilled.  God richly provided for me in granting me this position!  I will be a Project Coordinator and Personal Assistant to Mr. Tom Kummer, and a fellow colleague alongside one of my best girlfriends, Melinda Wilson.  Some of the things I am thankful for in this job:

–5 minutes from home!

–Hours: 8-4:30

–Working with people I love from Covenant Life and others….

–Highly administrative/organizational :)  Which, most of you know that I love…

–They are graciously letting me start on July 7, which means I’ll have 6 weeks off after school ends, to recuperate AND see my adorable little niece or nephew out in Phoenix at the end of June 🙂

Off to school!
