lovely

lovely.  that is the word i would use to describe this morning how this weekend feels.  i am sipping hot coffee on a crisp October morning.  Brett is off to his SAT test, and Dad is upstairs reading his Bible and drinking his coffee, too.  mom is driving home from her two-day beach getaway with her girlfriends.  I haven’t heard a peep from Nora or Kate this morning.  Probably because they have been the super-stars (well, Kate, really…sorry, Nora) since the moment they arrived on Thursday afternoon.  Kate had to meet her Uncle Peter and Brett, her great-Auntie Boo, her second cousins Brandon and Shelby, her Great-Grandma Dahl, and all of her Mommy’s good friends from MD.  And still so many more to meet later this week!!  So, I’m sure she is getting her beauty sleep.  Sigh.  It must be so hard, Kate, to be in such high demand! 🙂

Today, Nora and Mom and I are getting manicures from Tawn and Hawn, our nail ladies’ of 10+ years.I may do some Yoga this morning to stretch out my back from a tense week of work.  Then, it’s off to a wedding of some good friends.
